The team currently have an opportunity for a multi-skilled Theatre Technician with a sound bias to join the Technical Department at The Lowry. The Theatre Technician works closely with the Head of Technical Theatre and Technical Managers to help ensure a smooth running of the Technical Department.
This role involves carrying out all duties associated with the get in, fit up, running and get out of a variety pf productions & events taking place across our three theatre spaces, and in other indoor and outdoor spaces. You will be required to work closely with Visiting Companies to provide efficient and professional support for all their technical requirements and complete any other tasks needed to help the company facilitate its business objectives.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a receiving or producing theatre is required. You should also have strong skills in theatre sound, including QLab with a basic understanding of Dante, Midi, Networking, and with strong skills in rigging, focusing, timing of systems and EQ together with first line maintenance.

Please note that this role is 48 hours per week (averaged over 17 week reference period).
