As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing resources to support our mission. This role entails identifying and applying for a range of funding streams, grants, and other opportunities. This is a new volunteer role within CY as we aim to grow our scope within Dundee, Manchester, and London.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Writing: Craft compelling, well-structured, and comprehensive funding applications. Clearly communicate Comics Youth CIC’s goals, programs, and impact to potential funders in order to secure funding.
Funding Strategy Development: Work with our MD to develop and implement a robust funding strategy to ensure a diverse mix of funding streams. Regularly review and adjust the strategy based on performance and changes in the funding landscape.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports detailing funding applications, successful bids, and the overall performance of our funding strategy.
