As a Creative Learning Practitioner, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate weekly workshops as part of Storyhouse’s thriving partner schools’ programme, and deliver sessions with a variety of Storyhouse Youth Theatre groups, with children aged between 5 and 17 years old.
You will work with 3 schools on a regular basis, delivering regular workshops based around Storyhouse’s programme and the schools’ curriculum.
Your workshops in schools and at Storyhouse will foster a fun and inclusive environment, affording the young people the opportunity to develop a variety of skills, build confidence, work creatively and collaboratively with other young people, and learn from creative professionals.
This role will suit those with substantial experience delivering creative learning and performing arts for young people, ideally within formal education.
The role will be based at 3 different schools, 1 half day per week each, and 2 days based at Storyhouse, Chester.
