This position will be responsible for leading the efficient delivery of a high quality, customer and visitor orientated catering and hospitality function for the Bluecoat.
Ensuring the front of house staff are motivated and productive, and providing leadership to kitchen staff. You would be responsible for ensuring the catering and events operation is profitable.
You will:
Develop and implement an imaginative strategy and growth plan for catering & events at the Bluecoat, working with our Business Development & Marketing teams, and others across the organisation.
Lead the delivery of the catering offer across the venue, ensuring the business meets its targets for gross margins and staff costs.
Ensure the highest standard of daily operation and events delivery, bringing an enthusiasm for improving processes and a commitment to introducing and developing new, positive and efficient ways of working.
Manage the budget for catering & events, liaising with the finance team regularly to ensure short and long term targets are being met. Proactively manage costs and prices to ensure profitability, whilst upholding Bluecoat’s commitment to accessible pricing in its caf . Provide regular reports for the Executive Team, funders and others as required.
Work closely alongside others as part of Bluecoat’s senior staff team to ensure the catering offer complements and enhances Bluecoat’s wider range of activities and that customers have a seamless, top quality experience across the board.
The post holder will be the Designated Premises Supervisor and hold a Personal Licence.
Salary: £42,500 – £45,000 depending on experience
