What will you be doing?
We are looking for an engaging and creative individual who has skills and experience of communicating on various media platforms. The role will work directly with the charity’s Fundraising and Communications Manager, Siobhan, to help us shout loud and proud about what our organisation does and promote fundraising events we are planning on delivering!
We are specifically looking for support wth the following:
- Campaigning
- Social media marketing
- Data analytics
- Market research
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who has a passion and desire to help us deliver the life changing experiences we do to the thousands of children and young adults who visit our centre.
Skills and/or Experience:
- Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Experience with marketing, sales, or advertising.
- Hands-on experience developing online campaigns and promotions for events and causes.
- A Digital Marketing and Data Analytics degree or certification is desirable, but not essential.

Over a third of our visitors are from disadvantaged backgrounds and have limited opportunities to experience what we offer. We are proud to be able to support these children financially through our bursary scheme too. We are passionate about transforming the lives of young people, inspiring them to grow in mind, body and spirit.
Since the formation of the charity we have supported, on average, over 6000 young people per year. Barnstondale is for many, their first time experiencing the outdoors and their only holiday or respite of the year.
You would play an integral role in supporting our charity to engage with our community, develop engaging and exciting content, finding new customers and alerting people to the great work we do at Barnstondale Centre to support children from disadvantaged and disabled backgrounds.
