The Film Programme Producer will report to the Head of Film Strategy, and work closely with all members of the Film team and across the organisation to produce HOME’s film programme. The HOME Film programme includes a broad range of new releases and a curated, original programme of film seasons.
Management and process
Produce the film programme and one-off screenings, with duties including, but not limited to:

- Scheduling screenings and completing the weekly holdover schedule.
- Coordinating copy
- Overseeing film on-sale information
- Overseeing the certification of non-BBFC rated films with Manchester City Council.
- Coordinating cinema screen swaps.
- Logistical organisation and delivery of film events
- Develop opportunities for traineeships and internships.
Programme
Secure film rights and prints for screenings, including negotiating costs and ensuring bookings are made and materials are delivered in a timely fashion. This covers booking titles for one-off screenings, curated seasons, special events, festivals, family programming, Creative Development bookings, and private hires.
Contribute to screening and event programming.
Work with internal teams for the development of film programmes.
Communicate programme information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Maintain knowledge of contemporary film and film exhibition.
Finance and data
Keep accurate financial and statistical records for the organisation, including, but not limited to, admissions information and Film Pass data; and to provide analysis and updates of this information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Process and approve invoices, purchase orders and finance information via the organisation’s finance system.
Work with the Finance team and Head of Film Strategy to set targets.
Contribute to project and venue funding applications, working collaboratively with the Head of Film Strategy and the Development Team to maximise opportunities for financial support for the Film programme.
