Every child is an artist and dot-art Club is specifically designed to help children aged 8-12 years grow their artistic skills and build a lifelong love of art by exploring a range of art mediums. ***To avoid a booking fee and pay by card, cheque or cash, please contact dot-art Services directly on 0345 017 6660*** BLOCK 1: Sundays, 10:30am-12pm, 25th February - 24th March (5 Weeks) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Programme This course is for children who love making art, want to broaden their drawing and creative techniques or would like to build confidence in bringing their imaginations to life. dot-art club is a relaxing and fun space for nurturing ideas by experimenting with expressive drawing, colour, form, shape and pattern. Take part in lots of creative activities, including: Mark-making games Paint to music Make optical illusion art Draw graffiti words Learn simple printmaking techniques Over the 5 weeks you will compose giant creations from your new creative skills and grow your confidence as a young artist. Tutor: Denise Wright Wright is a Liverpool based children’s and families artist and artist educator who uses playful and open-ended processes for nurturing children’s inner artist and self-expression. Denise has years of experience in creating unique art with community groups and with children of all ages in schools and art galleries. Denise Wright has achieved a BA Hons Fine Art and Design, a PGCE and a PhD Arts-based education. Denise has worked with young people in a creative role for over a decade and is a practicing artist herself. All staff are fully DBS checked and insured. Dates BLOCK 2: Sundays, 10:30am-12pm, 25th February - 24th March (5 Weeks) Venue Baltic Creative CIC 49 Jamaica Street Liverpool L1 0AH Cost £95 for a Block. The full course must be booked in advance. Materials All materials will be provided. Children are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks for the session.
