Visitor donations are a key and growing area of income which supports the Cathedral’s mission and ministry in Liverpool. A key part of this role will be to engage visitors to the cathedral with a donation ‘ask’, whilst being mindful of the varying reasons people come to the cathedral.
You will use your communication skills to engage personally with visitors, and deputise for the Front of House Manager where required.
You will look after digital and physical signage, and change materials quickly when required, e.g. last-minute changes to event locations.
You will report to and work with the Front of House Manager to ensure an excellent level of service, and act as a duty manager when the most senior Front of House team member on site. This role will include working closely with the Visitor Services Manager, Operations Manager and H&S Manager & Inspector of Constables daily.
