DaDa, a disability arts organisation based in Liverpool, are looking for committed individuals to support the development of this ambitious organisation as we re-imagine how we continue supporting disabled artists in increasingly challenging circumstances.
This is an exciting time as we seek to expand the influence, reach and impact of our activities to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
As a disabled-led charity, our mission is:
o To empower disabled artists to explore creativity, develop their practice and produce quality artwork.
o To push for societal attitude change driven by our commitment to social justice.
o To foster and embed inclusive access across all areas of Arts & Culture.
As an organisation, we seek to educate, challenge attitudes and remove the barriers that restrict disabled artists.
You do not need to have been a charity trustee before. More important is enthusiasm and energy for our work and a commitment to use your skills and experience in the best interests of DaDa.
In the light of the ethos of the company to promote the Social Model of disability, we actively encourage and will prioritise applications from self-disclosing disabled people.
