We are looking for a Bookkeeper to help manage day-to-day financial tasks. Our charity is dedicated to providing music therapy for people of all ages and abilities with health and educational needs
What will you be doing?
- Managing finances, fees and financial overheads for MusicPlace North-West
- Preparing and sending out monthly invoices and ensuring timely receipt of payment
- Processing all payments to MusicPlace including any cheques
- Maintaining Xero accounting software including bank reconciliations (Experience of Xero would be an advantage).
The work can be done from your own home and at flexible times.
What are we looking for?
- Good working knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word
- Experienced in Xero accounting software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Excellent organisational skills
- Meticulous with an ‘eye for detail’
