St Helens Borough Council wishes to appoint a Freelance Producer to deliver The Carnival of Creativity in 2024. The Carnival of Creativity will be a one-day festival in August 2024, bringing together creatives, communities, artists, and audiences to celebrate the breadth and diversity of St Helens’ creative culture.
We are interested in hearing from Freelance Producers who may have previous experience in:
- Community focused co-production.
- Festival logistics & event management including preparing event risk-assessments.
- Preparing for, & liaising with event Marketing and Communications teams.
- Recruiting and managing Volunteer Teams.
- Management of a project budget exceeding £10,000.
- Booking & contracting professional touring theatre companies and/or live music, audio-visual & installation arts.
We are also interested in hearing from Freelance Producers who may live, work, or have experience of arts & culture in St Helens Borough.
