Knowsley Council are looking for a Culture Development and Events Officer (Visitor Economy) to join their Culture team.
If you are passionate about culture and have experience of planning and delivering cultural activities, then this role could be for you. Experience could include developing and supporting cultural organisations and artists, delivering cultural events, activities, festivals, performances, public art, etc

Knowsley is a priority area for Arts Council England and Heritage Lottery and has excellent relationships with both. Knowsley is home to the Shakespeare North Playhouse and has an exciting and developing cultural and creative sector.
You will be expected to help embed, and put into practice, a culture of enabling, co-production, social growth, behaviour change and service innovation, including supporting the development of cultural events and cultural communities and voluntary sector
You will establish partnerships with key national, regional and local organisations, this will include collaborative and cross cutting ventures internally and with other agencies, local authorities, businesses and organisations, community, voluntary and faith groups.
Also working closely with partners and stakeholders to maximise the opportunities for people to engage in cultural activities, grow the cultural and creative sector and strengthen opportunities in the visitor economy, working collaboratively to develop solutions and new ways of working.
