For this free event, artist Valentina Passerini will be hosting a clay workshop to imagine a ‘City Of The Future’.
Stine Marie Jacobsen’s film project ‘Future, Before It Happens’, devised with children from St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, will be displayed at Bluecoat as part of their Summer Programme.
The film focuses on the wellbeing of young people in relation to the climate crisis and will be accompanied by a series of free family workshops taking place on weekends during the Summer Holidays.
For this event, artist Valentina Passerini will be hosting a clay workshop to imagine a ‘City Of The Future’. We will explore future building by placing clay creations on an urban map to spark imaginative and transformative climate change solutions.
Valentina Passerini is a teacher and artist working with self-publishing and image reproduction. They are a studio holder at CBS Gallery where they run collaborative projects, workshops and exhibitions, as well as creative delivery at The Bluecoat, and Liverpool Photography Group.
This workshop is free, and all necessary materials will be provided. Families can stay for the entire session or drop in throughout the day.
This series of workshops is kindly supported by SEVENSTORE.
