This is an exciting opportunity to provide counselling for individuals who are directly and indirectly affected by alcohol and substance use. Under the supervision of the Counselling Lead you will help individuals to work through their concerns and assist them with deciding on an appropriate course of action.
To be considered for this role you must have a Counselling qualification – Level 4 or above and be registered with professional body (BACP, NCPS or similar).
Location and Time Commitment
- Liverpool – we have (3 hubs in North – Central and South areas of the city.
- Flexible hours between 9-5pm, Monday to Friday
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Undertaking counselling interventions, adhering to With You and BACP guidelines, on a one-to-one basis with clients
- Ensuring case notes are taken for each session and recorded in line with We are With You’s policies and procedures
- Raising any potential safeguarding concerns with appropriate members of staff
- Attending counselling supervision meetings
