Project Producer – Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation, closes 16 Dec ’24

At Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation, they transform lives through the unique power of Shakespeare

Their work instils curiosity and empathy; aspiration and self-esteem; oracy and teamwork – giving young people the confidence to stride onto whatever stage they choose. Programmes equip teachers and young people with an active and ambitious way of working with Shakespeare that builds skills for life.

About the role

They seek a Producer to be the driving force that shapes new creative projects for young people, focusing on disadvantaged communities in line with the charity’s 2030 Strategy.

This will include tailoring and expanding the reach of programmes in our current portfolio as well as targeted projects for young people in Virtual Schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Schools, youth groups and other settings.

The role is fixed-term, based at the Coram Campus in central London and they support hybrid working. Travel across the UK will be required from time to time.

About you

They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of driving theatre- or arts-based projects from inception to delivery, with strong creative judgment, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. Outstanding communication and organisational skills, creativity, and innovation are essential.

You’ll align with their mission and demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure. You will join a creative and ambitious organisation and build your leadership skills as part of a supportive, dynamic Management Team.
