Royal Court Liverpool Ltd are looking for a passionate individual to join the charity’s board of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the onward journey of the historic theatre of Liverpool’s Royal Court!
It is estimated that Trustees will be required to spend an average of 1-2 days per month supporting the charity. There are four meetings of the full Board of Trustees each year with additional sub-committee meetings as and when required. Board members are expected to attend opening nights of theatre productions. There are an average of 7 new main house shows per year and 2-3 studio productions Trustees may also be required to represent the charity from time to time at meetings with funders and stakeholders, but these meetings are infrequent.
They are actively increasing diversity across the organisation and warmly welcome applications for the Board from individuals with lived experience. They particularly encourage applications from people of the global majority or historically underrepresented communities with one or more of the following:
• Experience of working with and empowering local communities especially historically underrepresented
• Experience of marketing, sales and/or PR
• Expertise in fundraising and income generation
