AGE ; BOARC’s Annual General Exchange is finally back after a 2 year hiatus!
This year they have settled on three thematics that have been most urgently discussed round BOARC’s dinner table
AGE; Economies, Capacities and Topologies will be 5 days of collective investigation into DIY organising and Arts Activism now
They are asking folks invested in these topics to put their thinking forward through a light touch presentation which will gain weight when working together with the other amazing people through active crossover and sharing of knowledge and strategy. All aimed towards hope, solidarity and getting to what matters.
For those new to AGE it has always been a time for collective thinking about politics and challenges of the moment. It’s speculative and evolves as group conversation. It’s a time that allows BOARC to think through important issues for its development, while also posing questions that resonate with all of us who look to activate social change.
While the themes are broad they have offered some hints at our thinking but these are just a flavour of very open prompts. Please feel free to be specific or vast, geeky or unsure this is the woods our collective brain gets to shout in!
Lastly their 5th and final day is their capture and implementation day for BOARC. This day is completely optional but will include a 4th night’s stay for free.
