An opportunity for 14-25 year olds across Merseyside to join the Comics Youth Safe Spaces: Reclaiming Community Spaces Programme from the middle of September to the end of November.Over the course of 12 weeks, young people will have access to a £2,500 grant to host an event of their choice focusing on LGBTQIA+ access to the arts, mental health and publishing.
They will be trained with the team during evening sessions every Friday about budgeting, EDI, inclusive policy making, even management and so much more! Young people will receive a portion of the funds to pay for their time throughout the project.
