DaDaFest is a pioneering disability and Deaf arts organisation based in Liverpool with a national and international reach. They programme a multi-art form year-round artistic programme that includes high quality festivals, interventions and events as well as support for young and emerging disabled artists.
They are looking for an energetic, well-organised individual to work alongside our artistic team to help ensure that the access needs of staff, artists and participants are met.
You will be organising and managing access logistics, liaising with venues and artists, attending events and providing general administrative support so that access remains at the core of their activities and their ethos.
You will need to be an effective organiser with a good understanding of disability culture and an ability to multi-task and prioritise work. You will also need to be able to work closely with a range of colleagues, artists, participants and partners and contribute to the effective working of their artistic team.
They would encourage applications from people with an understanding and/or experience of the government’s Access to Work scheme or who have some experience of working in creative industries, charity or education, ideally with young disabled, Deaf or neurodivergent people.
They are open to discussions about how they cover this role and they would invite both job share applications and are committed to flexible working.
Please visit their website for the BSL interpreted video of this advertisement, along with a full job description and information on how to apply for this position. For queries, please contact Richard Nutter, Business Development Manager at accessapps@dadafest.co.uk.
Closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 24 September 2021
