Filled with zip lines, slides, mazes and magical tree houses our visitors run WILD in our beautiful canopied forest together as a family. Adults are encouraged to play alongside the children, evoking their inner WILD child, promoting the nostalgic feel of playing in the woods and getting muddy knees along the way! If the children are asleep in the car on the way home and the parents are smiling, they know they’ve done a good job.
An integral part of the visitor experience, their events programme will offer daily storytelling, face painting and craft activities as well as larger scale events during our peak seasons.
The Activities & Storytelling Manager will work collaboratively with the park owner to create exciting, on brand concepts, crafts and stories for each event. They are then responsible for organising and delivering the events on time, on budget and with a little sprinkle of giggle powder…
No day at BeWILDerwood is ever the same – from training staff in storytelling or liaising with a Marketing Manager to promote events, this is a varied and exciting position. With strong event organisation experience, preferably within a similar environment, their ideal candidate will be highly creative, resourceful, energetic and very organised.
With strong attention to detail and time management skills, the role requires a significant amount of self-management. You’ll also be expected to jump in to help deliver events during peak seasons so you must be a brave Boggle!
Starting Salary – circa £22k per annum, dependant on experience.
This is a permanent, full time role that requires a flexible approach to hours and days worked.
