This is an assistant role working directly with our General Manager, Artistic Director and Lead Artists on a variety of administrative tasks including;
- Working across the team to support the maintaining of registers and databases and making sure contacts are up to date
- Undertaking research tasks
- Supporting the creation of physical and online content
- Maintaining contact with participants where appropriate, including emailing reminders about session times and posting resources if necessary
- Supporting the team with Zoom or MS teams when delivering online events both internal and public
- Acting as assistant to our Artistic Director with administration and upkeep of our online Centre for Excellence resources
- Researching performance and presentation opportunities and supporting the development of creative projects
- Assisting the lead artists on the Above and Beyond and Youth Theatre programmes, including collating and maintaining participant contacts, research tasks, collating opportunities for participants, and maintaining registers
Essential Skills and Experience
- Basic computer literacy, including MS word and excel
- An understanding of a variety of social media platforms in particular Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Experience with video communication, in particular Zoom
- Experience using cloud based sharing platforms like Dropbox and Google Drive
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage own time, particularly when working remotely
- Strong communication skills
