You will support the Lead Artist on all aspects of delivery as well as helping to devise the programme and assist on recruiting participants though new and existing partners. We expect the Artist to be an early career artist with no more than 2 years professional experience working in this field.
The Artist will:
- Support all aspects of recruitment and partnership working
- Work with public agencies and voluntary sector partners to offer wraparound and pastoral support for participants.
- Co-deliver evaluating a suitable theatre for social change programme for young people (note: it is most likely these activities will be face to face in a COVID secure space).
- Work with the external evaluator to identify next steps and make recommendations for future projects and programmes of work.
The successful applicant will be an early career participatory theatre maker with no more than 2 years professional experience in this field. They will have some experience of working with vulnerable adults, and an understanding of the community/participatory theatre sector. A bonus would be experience of working with people whose first language isn’t English. Due to the nature of the project, we are particularly interested in hearing from artists of colour.
