Merseyside Creatives! Make a difference. Mentor the next generation of talent.
Merseyside is buzzing with bright, curious and creative young people. They have the talent – but they need people in their corner. Could you be that person?
Arts Emergency is looking for creatives across Merseyside to volunteer as mentors and help under-resourced young people access the knowledge, connections and encouragement they need to pursue their creative ambitions.
Whether you’re an architect, photographer, animator, game designer, writer, fashion designer, producer, curator, musician – or work anywhere else across the arts and cultural industries – your experience could make a real difference.
The required commitment is just one hour a month for 12 months, meeting with a 16-18-year-old who’ll be matched with you based on your shared interests and ambitions.
You’ll receive training and ongoing support throughout the programme, while having the chance to share your experience, open doors and help a young person build confidence in their future.
One hour a month could make a lasting difference. Watch their video featuring mentees from the Arts Emergency Mentoring Programme.

Registration closes 4 September 2026.
