The role of assistant director is a key member of the creative team, supporting the Director (Daniel Lloyd) in the room, this hand-on experience is full time from day one of rehearsals until the press performance, so you’ll get to experience the whole theatre making process on a production of scale.
Please note this is a freelance, fixed-term position, and is open to people born, raised, or living in Wales.

Tech: w/c 18 Nov 2024
First Preview: Sat 23 Nov 2024
Guest Night: Thu 28 Nov 2024
Final Show: Sun 19 Jan 2025
The fee is £3,800 for the whole project, plus subs if the applicant is based more than 25 miles from Theatr Clwyd. The Assistant Director must commit to be fully available from the first day of rehearsals until and including the Guest Night performance on Thu 28 Nov 2024. This post is a fully in-person position.
