FACT Liverpool is seeking a committed and inclusive Chair of the Board of Trustees for this arts charity. You will join the organisation in an exciting phase of development and artistic vision. In 2023, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of FACT’s award-winning building and develop ambitious long-term plans.
The role is voluntary and appointed on an initial three-year term, with the potential for a second term. As a Chair of the Board, you will need considerable experience in governance to be able to lead and guide the Board of Trustees, demonstrating best practice in charitable or third sector governance. You will support the Chief Executive and leadership team through a period of development and change during challenging times for the cultural sector.
While you do not specifically need to have direct experience in the arts sector, a keen interest in art, film and technology would be of assistance in understanding the core work of FACT.
