At the Royal Exchange the whole Making Team is included in the creative process and the Company Manager works closely with the Producing Lead, Director of Producing and Production, Artistic Leadership and the rest of the Making Team and freelancers to assist on the smooth running of productions on stage and in rehearsal. This includes primary responsibility for the welfare of the acting companies.
The Company Manager will be the first point of contact and look after any issues arising regarding welfare through rehearsals and performances.
This will at times require you to work evenings and weekends. The role will also oversee and be the first port of call for all stage management teams including working with the closely with the Director of Producing and Production and the Producing Lead to recruit stage management for the season for the Module productions, Connecting Team and other one off events.
The post holder will be energetic and imaginative with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people within a large and busy producing theatre.
