Want to show your artwork with Convenience Gallery?
Then get involved with the 2024 Open
They are running an open showcase of local artists across disciplines in July and August at their Pop Up venue in the former M&S building.
The application is open to artists of all disciplines. Although this does have focus on local, as its also part of the Wirral borough of culture we are accepting responses for consideration from further a field too. If you are unsure before applying just drop us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
The final deadline for submissions is May 25th.
They will have a short reviewing process, but are aiming to include a much higher number of artist than previous exhibits we have ran in this format and will look to confirm your place before 13th June.
This is truly open to all, and whether you’ve never exhibited anything before or you’re a seasoned pro, if you’d simply like to exhibit with us and get more involved with the projects they do, they’d love to hear from you. As they’ve said all disciplines are welcome, and they have already had a number of brilliant submissions, including sculptors, photographers, painters, and never seen before artworks, so its already very exciting!!
They want this to be a celebration of artistic and creative talent and it will be curated by their core team.
There is an online form which is their preference for submissions, however they know that doesn’t work for everyone. If you’d like to submit a different way please get in touch.
The exhibition will then take place from July 27th – August 31st, meaning the work will be on show for 5 weeks across the summer.
