The day brings together artists, community organisations, researchers, and health professionals to look at how creativity can support health and wellbeing, and help address health inequities. It’s hosted by broadcaster Ngunan Adamu, with a welcome from Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram.
The programme includes:
– Live performances and creative showcases, including Eli Yim and House of Memories from National Museums Liverpool
– Participatory workshops in screenprinting, singing, music, and dementia-focused storytelling, including sessions with Liverpool Philharmonic and House of Memories
– Conversations about creative health and health equity, sharing what ReCITE has learned from its work with local communities, and from creative health programmes in other regions
– A creative health marketplace, where you can find out about local projects and meet the people running them
If your organisation already works in health and wellbeing, or would like to, this is a good opportunity to meet the people doing this work across the city region. The organisers will send further details to everyone who books.
