The team are looking to recruit a Creative Learning Practitioner on a 12 month fixed term, part time 20 hours per week basis.
Their Creative Learning Practitioner will create, lead and manage workshops with children in local schools; you will support teachers to develop pedagogy for applying creativity.
Your working week will include one day of time for planning with the team; the rest of your week will be spent in schools delivering creative workshops planned by you in collaboration with the teachers. You will need to enjoy creating fun, inclusive environments for children to develop theatre skills, build confidence, work creatively with other young people, and learn from creative professionals.
You will find ways to explore career pathways, finding opportunities for the students to meet industry experts and learn about different careers.
The role will suit those with substantial experience delivering performing arts and creative learning for young people, ideally within formal education.
They are looking for someone who also has experience delivering choreography/movement/physical theatre.
