
Are you a young creative looking to take your practice to the next level?
Make CIC is offering three fully funded 12-month Creative Residencies at Make Huyton Village, giving emerging creatives aged 16–25 the opportunity to develop their work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Successful applicants will receive:
- A shared studio space for 12 months (worth £1,600)
- A £200 travel stipend
- Tailored masterclasses and professional development
- One-to-one mentorship from Make CIC’s Community & Project Manager
- Financial and practical support to deliver a final exhibition
- 24/7 access to the studio and Make Huyton Village’s Innovation Lab
The residency is open to creatives living or based in Knowsley across a wide range of disciplines, including visual arts, photography, illustration, filmmaking, theatre, music and craft. Whether you’re already developing your creative career or exploring a passion for the first time, Make CIC is encouraging applications from anyone eager to grow their practice.
The programme will explore themes of home, identity, community, heritage and shared histories, while giving participants access to workshops, creative technology and a welcoming network of fellow artists.
