Decorate a tree – Christmas Tree Festival, closes 9 Nov

As a way of bringing some joy and help to the local community at this time St Bride’s Church warmly invite everyone to participate in their first annual Christmas Tree Festival.

It will be held outdoors in the church grounds and the trees will be on display from 29 November – 4 January for everyone to enjoy.

If you’d like to get involved and decorate a tree, then they will provide you with a tree and a set of lights. The tree will be anchored in place ready for you to decorate on Saturday 28th November.

You may choose to decorate your tree to promote your business, your events, your community or a favourite Christmas carol. Decorations will need to be waterproof.

If you would like to get involved email  vicar@stlukeinthecity.org.uk by midnight of Monday 9th November.

Contributions for involvement are welcomed to help cover the cost of the trees and the lights. The cost is in the region of £35. If you’d like to make a donation their bank details are:

They’ve’ve a range of local organisations already involved decorating trees including restaurants Free State kitchen, Wreckfish and Roski as well as charities British Red Cross, James Place and Ichoir and schools Archbishop Blanch, LIPA, Pleasant Street and more!
