This post sits in the Development Team, which is responsible for delivering income to sustain and grow The Reader’s work and developing the relationships that can help make that work happen.
You’ll be working in a small, fast-paced team that needs to flex to opportunities as they arise. This role will provide support functions for all key administrative and coordination activities related to the department and will gain experience across all income streams and fundraising activity.
Key Responsibilities include:
– Support the Development Team by providing organisational and administrative support, including diary coordination and document processing and collation.
– Proactively identify and research prospective funders and partners, working with the wider Team to prioritise and appropriately respond to opportunities as they arise.
– Ensure all information relating to the department remains up to date on the CRM and all actions arising are recorded.
– Contribute to the development of clear and compelling proposals for grant donors, gathering relevant information for bids.
– Work with both the Events and the Communications Teams to support and deliver engagement and cultivation events for current and prospective funders and partners.
– Support and coordinate regular funder and partner communications.
– Work with the Communications and Development team to ensure all partnerships and donations are credited and recognised, in a timely and appropriate manner.
