People’s History Museum (PHM) has a new vision of a fairer society where people’s voices and actions make a difference.
PHM is the national museum of democracy, telling the story of its development in Britain: past, present, and future. The museum provides opportunities for all people to learn about, be inspired by and get involved in ideas worth fighting for; ideas such as equality, social justice, co-operation, and a fair world for all.
Through an audience focused approach with quality at its heart, 2021 will move PHM even further along its digital journey which has been escalated by Covid-19 and the necessity of working and engaging differently.
The project
In 2021, the museum will develop a hybrid programme of activity onsite and online – using digital content, tools and platforms to engage people with key events and the key themes of PHM’s collection.
The project will deliver three main strands of activity; learning, engagement and premium – all supported by a Digital & Technical Partner. The project will help embed digital more effectively within the museum’s public programme of activity.
PHM is committed to telling the stories of ideas worth fighting for of the past and present, to inspire positive action for the future. This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate technician who shares PHM’s values.
This opportunity has been made possible thanks to generous support from an Art Fund Respond and Reimagine grant.
