Blaze Arts supports the next generation of creative producers and artists to imagine, build and invent the future world they want to see.
From training creative producers to developing socially engaged artists, we nurture and profile self-enterprising young people. They collaborate with a range of partners to design and develop youth engagement strategies, supporting a movement of new voices bringing the noise from the margins to the core.
They are looking for a dynamic leader with experience of running arts and creative projects to drive their mission forward and build on nearly 10 years of supporting the next generation of creative producers.
They are looking for someone who has artistic vision, is a self-starter, can work independently; someone who is not afraid to take risks, is collaborative and committed to inclusion and diversity in everything they do.
You will be committed to co-production with young people. All of Blaze’s projects and events have always been youth-led and as a registered charity they made the decision to continue this vision by ensuring their Board of Trustees is made up of a minimum of 51% young people.
They particularly welcome applications from those often marginalised from leadership roles in the arts and cultural sector. This includes people who are under the age of 30, working class, disabled, and people who are Black, Asian, and ethnically diverse.
