Creative West End is a collaboration between local creative organisations, artists and residents.
They offer an emerging platform and network, promoting and linking local creativity within the wider community.
The project is funded by Creative Civic Change, who will be investing in the West End over a 3 year programme.
Creative West End are inviting applications from artists, makers, architects and creatives who are interested in proposing projects with an ‘Eco’ theme that seek to work in a socially engaged way.
They’re deliberately leaving this quite open and welcome people to use their imagination and interpret the theme freely.
Projects might directly work with nature and the environment or seek to address or explore an environmental issue in a creative way.
Projects must be intended to engage with and benefit the community in the area and involve them in the process wherever possible.
Successful projects will be expected to ‘launch’ or have some involvement at the next Creative West End Market – currently postponed.
They are open to how you will use the Market as a platform to launch or showcase the project and involve the community in it.
