STUN enables urban stories of 21st Century Britain to be experienced across the world.
Their main purpose is to develop the talent of Artists of Colour who wouldn’t be developed without our support, giving voice to stories that would otherwise go unheard.
As a small flexible organisation they allow freedom to artists which larger arts organisations may find difficult. They have long and valuable experience in supporting artists whose work is not defined by text; who assume many roles that traditional theatre separates; or who don’t even consider themselves artists.
They are a small organisation based in the heart of Manchester. You would be to joining the team at a crucial point in our development. They have been awarded funding through Arts Council England’s Elevate organisational development programme to expand our team, in order to grow the organisation and work towards sustainability.
They want to build a comprehensive audience engagement strategy for STUN.
The Brief
They want to work with an audience engagement specialist to provide us with an audience development strategy and to implement the initial recommendations.
You will work to provide a baseline for data collection, provide data capture analysis against which they can measure growth and deliver a realistic audience development plan that makes recommendations on how they should grow and sustain our audiences.
The plan should consider how they develop loyalty in existing audiences and build new ones in partnership with the organisations that we work with across the city. Your approach needs to combine practical suggestions on how they can make the most of their partnerships and up their game by using the limited resources we have.
