Are you an experienced, inspiring teacher and passionate musician who believes in the power of singing to support wellbeing?
They’re looking for a freelance choir leader to deliver our weekly Health and Wellbeing Choir in Wallasey – a vibrant, welcoming space where people of all backgrounds come together to sing, connect, and feel better.
Why this role is special:
This isn’t your average choir. It’s a growing, community-rooted project that helps people reduce stress, combat loneliness, and boost confidence – all through the joy of singing together.
You’ll be walking into an established, supported session with warmups and arrangements provided, and plenty of space to bring your own creativity and style. You’ll be supported by a friendly team who cares deeply about your experience as well as the choir members’.
The Role Includes:
- Leading a weekly session on Tuesdays, 1-3pm in Wallasey
- Delivering uplifting warmups, songs, and performances
- Bringing energy, warmth, and accessibility to every session
- Supporting a safe, inclusive, and joyful atmosphere
- Liaising with our team for light admin, ongoing support and training.

- A confident group facilitator with experience leading community choirs.
- Someone who values community, inclusivity, and emotional wellbeing
- A warm, compassionate presence
- The ability to adapt to diverse group needs
- Comfortable working freelance and being part of a supportive wider team
