They are seeking to appoint a part-time freelance singing teacher 0.6 FTE to provide individual singing lessons, ensuring that all students achieve to the best of their abilities and are prepared thoroughly for internal assessments and auditions.
For the right candidate, this role will also include delivering Singing Technique group classes for Musical Theatre students, devising a curriculum that complements the over-arching curriculum journey and contributes to Vocational Qualifications.
They are looking for candidates who can:
- Inspire and engage students through well-planned and expertly delivered singing lessons, schemes of work and mid-term plans that ensure the progress of all students.
- Keep up to date with current contemporary singing practices, ensuring students acquire the most relevant and high quality vocational training.
- Establish good relationships with students that promote progress, develops confidence and a positive attitudes to learning.
- Have high expectations and set appropriate challenges for all students.
- Potential to contribute towards the planning and delivery of high quality internal and external performances and events.
