Open Culture are seeking an experienced and innovative Freelance Website Integration Development Project Officer to lead the development of UncoverLiverpool.com digital platform. This exciting freelance role will focus on improving integration tools through this user submission website.

Outcomes:
You will be responsible for working with and managing the Creative Digital Development Company to implement key technical integrations, automations, improved backend systems, ensuring an accessible and user-friendly front-end design, whilst potentially identifying and developing new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automated Technical Development: Work with the Creative Digital Development Company and Stakeholders to implement Automated Feeds (API/XML/RSS) between Culture Network LCR member organisations (60+ members) and UncoverLiverpool.com, based on learning from the Virtual Engineering Centre.
- ‘One-Form’ Data Collection: Research and implementation of a ‘One-Form’ submission system, streamlining existing data collection across member organisations, looking at Annual Membership Renewal, Members Directory, Surveys, etc, along with integration with mailing lists and invoicing to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience across devices and browsers.
- SEO Optimisation: Implement and manage SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and drive more organic traffic.
- Analytics Monitoring: Utilise relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website performance, analyse user behavior, and provide actionable insights and improvements.
- Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals, working closely with all stakeholders to align website initiatives with overall business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven knowledge and experience in website integration development, particularly with API/XML/RSS integration, HTML, CSS, CRM and CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of front-end development, with a focus on creating accessible, user-friendly websites.
- Experience in managing digital projects within cultural sectors and/or working and collaborating with multi-stakeholder environments (ie public, cultural, non-profit).
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical skills and analytics monitoring, with experience of data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the cultural or creative sectors.
- Knowledge of the Liverpool City Region and its cultural landscape.
- Familiarity with event listing platforms and audience engagement strategies for local and visitor audiences.
- Understanding of back-end systems, databases, and form submission systems
- Experience in commercialisation strategies and revenue generation models for digital platforms.
Contract Details:
- Freelance position with flexible hours.
- Remote work.
- £5000.00
- Majority of the work to be completed in November & December 2024, however based on availability we can discuss this work running into Spring 2025.
