HEROES, the charity founded by NHS workers for NHS workers, has announced a partnership with English golf sensation, Matthew Jordan.
Jordan, who was named by the European Tour as one of their top five golfers to watch in 2020, recently won the BMW Indoor Invitational at Valderrama, a tournament hosted virtually during lockdown, and donated his entire $2,000 prize money to HEROES.
Jordan takes to the European Tour in July and will support the charity in raising awareness by sporting the HEROES logo on his kit, championing the organisation in his day-to-day role and by taking part in future fundraising initiatives with the charity.
HEROES has raised more than £1 million since the outbreak of COVID-19, supplying nearly 100,000 frontline NHS workers with sustainable visors, reusable respiratory masks, hand sanitisers, therapy services, financial grants, food supplies, and much more.
The charity is committed to safeguarding the welfare and wellbeing of those employed by the NHS by driving activity that protects both their physical and mental health.
The charity is calling on businesses and the general public for continued support, with more information available at www.helpthemhelpus.co.uk
