Outline
Funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Arts-Based Learning Fund, their new project, From Head to Toe, marks a new way of Blue Moose Dance Company working within education; exploring the creative moving body in a different area of the curriculum and developing a longer-term relationship with teaching staff and SLTs.
The project began in September 2021, and will run until December 2023, supported by a Project Manager, administrator, 2 dedicated artists and an audio-visual team for documentation. Through in-school delivery, teacher INSET and Curious Conversations, the project follows a mixed class of Yr3/4 pupils, class teachers and SLTs across two academic years, in 6 different Primary Schools across Wyre and Fylde.
