Theatre Factory are looking for an experienced lighting designer for a small-scale, 40 minute outdoor evening promenade performance, including shadow puppetry and live action on a community growing space, March 2022.
The venue is ‘Allotment Soup’, Community Growing Space, Walney, Barrow-in-Furness.

The piece will be performed by young people aged 12 to 26 on March 24th, 25th and 26th to an audience of 20 per show at 6pm in the evening.
They need someone who:
- Can work fast and creatively with small budgets
- Can make use of the natural environment with care and compassion
- Can work off grid, with practical lighting and low carbon solutions
- Can create magic with lights in a windy, rainy environment
- will enjoy working in an environmentally sensitive space
- is comfortable in a community setting
- is passionate about fighting climate change from within the arts.
Fee is £1000
Accommodation provided and paid for
Travel reimbursed.
