Liverpool Philharmonic are welcoming applications for the role of Creative Programming Officer.
This role is part of a programme run by Jerwood Arts which will support 50 artists to be employed for a year by arts organisations across the UK.
The Creative Programming Officer role is designed specifically for someone early in their career and for whom economic disadvantage has been a barrier to a career in the cultural sector.
The roles have been created because Jerwood Arts and all of the organisations taking part recognise that fair access to working in the arts and cultural sector is an urgent issue, with people who have experienced socio-economic hardship still significantly under-represented amongst the artists and employees of UK arts organisations.
The Creative Programming Officer will work closely with the artistic planning team as a whole, to develop a diversity-led programme to be delivered primarily in Liverpool Philharmonic’s contemporary music venue, Music Room.
This is a 12 month, fixed term, full time contract, and the salary for this post will be £19,500 per annum.
