Lockdown Art Classes from dot-art – bring a friend for free! It’s a fact, getting creative does wonders for your mental health.
Whether you’re serious about learning a new skill or just fancy trying something different, they guarantee it will lift your spirits!
With this in mind, as they launch their winter series of art classes, which will all take place on Zoom until our venues can safely reopen, they are offering FIVE FREE places on EACH course.
They know that a lot of people are finding this third lockdown very tough. As we come up to the anniversary of restrictions being put in place, many of us are feeling more isolated, lonely and frustrated than ever before. Here is where taking up a creative activity can help.
A recent Guardian article stated: “Art is widely recognised as a helpful way to boost wellbeing in so many different ways: to aid communication, to alleviate depression, to uncover hidden meanings and conflicts, but it doesn’t have to be a big cathartic expression of inner turmoil to have healing benefits. Even a small amount of creativity is good for us.”
At dot-art they know the positive impact art can have first-hand and they want to share it as widely as possible.
That’s why the first five people who book onto one of their winter courses can gift a free place to a friend, family member or colleague who they think would enjoy and benefit from some creative activity!
All their courses are delivered by professional, practising artists and most take place at evenings and weekend to work around your schedules, from the comfort and safety of your home.
They have something for everyone, from Still Life, Landscape or Watercolour painting, to Cartooning and Cyanotype. They haven’t forgotten their young artists; the dot-art Club is for 8-12 year olds and takes place on a Wednesday afternoon.
