Between May 2026 and March 2027, Collective Encounters is delivering a wide-ranging programme of workshops, performances, training and other events, using creativity to improve health and wellbeing in Liverpool City Region.
Local artists and residents will co-create powerful participatory theatre, touring performances and artist development, to engage underrepresented communities in telling their stories, making connections and steering health policy.
They are looking for a freelance marketing and communications professional to work with the Collective Encounters team and project partners to plan, produce and distribute relevant and accessible marketing material to engage target audiences in the Creative Health programme.
The role would suit someone with excellent graphic design and video editing skills, with knowledge of arts and/or health networks in Liverpool City Region. Some experience of developing marketing strategy would be an advantage, but you will be working alongside our team to develop the strategy, so content creation skills are much more essential.
Contract type: Freelance
Hours: approx. 25 days
Fee: £5,000, plus a marketing budget and travel expenses within Liverpool City Region
Location: Remote working; the role will require regularly attending events in Liverpool City Region throughout the contract
Expected start date: August 2026
