One Fell Swoop is a boutique Liverpool-based marketing, publicity and events agency; working primarily within the cultural sector, music, events and the arts.
They offer a host of marketing, communications and events services – connecting clients with their audiences. They deliver multi-disciplinary campaigns of all shapes and sizes, offering PR, social media management, content creation, digital advertising, branding, and marketing strategy.
They also provide a full 360 events planning and management service, supporting a wide variety of cultural celebrations.
One Fell Swoop focus on establishing long term relationships with those who share their values – creating amazing experiences for clients and their audiences, and contributing to Liverpool and the City Region’s vibrant arts and cultural industries.
ROLE:
The marketing assistant will work closely with OFS’ directors and project managers, working on all aspects of clients’ marketing campaigns. You will focus on copywriting, managing contact databases, securing media coverage, comprehensive reporting and delivering impeccable customer service. The role also includes supporting both their social media team and the delivery of their live event programme.
You will be a key part of a small team, within a lively city centre agency, working with an exciting array of clients – all doing amazing work! The ideal candidate will be adaptable, tenacious, client-focused, and driven by achieving great results – with a passion for Liverpool, Arts, Music, Culture and people.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Proficient with: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook/Gmail, Calendar,
Working Knowledge of: Mailchimp (or similar), WordPress (or other CMS), Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok)
Marketing and/or PR experience in a similar role
Adept at producing rich, engaging copy for a variety of uses – press releases, newsletters, brochures, social media
Strong, proven communication skills, e.g Email, Phone, Video Conferencing, Face to face
A results-driven outlook and determination to make things happen
Demonstrable experience of working as both part of a team, and as a project leader
Experience of developing campaign strategies with relevant KPIs (key performance indicators)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Proficient at: Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok), Mailchimp (or similar), WordPress (or other CMS)
Min. 2 years in a Marketing or PR role
Planning and Delivering Press and Marketing campaigns
Managing small teams and volunteers
Experience of Account or Client management
Project Management
Passion for live events, Liverpool and the LCR Cultural ‘scene’
Involvement in producing written client and funder reports
An understanding of Charities, the Arts Council and funding applications
Start Date: July 2024
Wage: £12-13 per hour
Hours: 25-30 hours per week (spread over 4-5 days).
Flexible working with minimum 2 days a week office based in L1.
Occasional Evenings and Weekends may be required at busy times.
