Do you love learning about the history of Liverpool? – Are you passionate about local heritage? – Would you like to uncover the secrets of one of the city’s hidden buildings?
Be part of an exciting new community engagement project to create a major new exhibition about the majestic Lutyens Crypt, housed beneath the Metropolitan Cathedral.
They are looking for volunteers of all ages to form our research team. Join them as they delve into the Cathedral’s rich and diverse heritage through a mix of talks and research trips.
No prior experience is required – just an enthusiasm to learn new skills and meet new people!
Workshops will commence on the 5th and 9th November from 10am – 2pm and will run initially for six weeks. Volunteers can sign up to either the Tuesday or Saturday sessions. Expenses and refreshments will be provided.
There is a volunteer recruitment morning on Saturday 26th October, 11 – 12.30pm at The Gibberd Room, Metropolitan Cathedral.
