North Birkenhead Development Trust and Cradle to Career are looking for a local artist/artists in the Wirral, Liverpool City Region or Chester/Cheshire area to create 3-5 community based, outdoor murals that celebrate the North End of Birkenhead.
The successful artist must have proven experience of working on large scale walls and will work with the community via the Cradle to Career Community Working Group to decide on what these murals should depict and capture. Ideally, the artist will have an idea of the local area, an understanding of what it means to the community and a bit of its history.
This position is fully paid with a set budget to be decided with artists based on their work and fees.
