20 Stories High believe that “everybody’s got a story to tell… and their own way of telling it.”
They create bold, excellent theatre experiences with culturally diverse, working-class communities, emerging artists, and world-class professionals to tell stories that bring joy, empower, and enable social change.
Their experiences happen in a wide variety of spaces: from theatres, schools and youth clubs to digital spaces, living rooms and doorsteps.
Their heart is in Liverpool, but our reach is universal.
20 Stories High has a brilliant new 12 week music programme for 15-25 year olds interested in experimental music called NU NOIZE- Next Sound Collective.
Are you a musician, singer, rapper or spoken word artist aged 15–25?
Want to experiment, collaborate and create something completely new?
Nu Noize: Next Sound Collective is a free three-month creative music project bringing together talented young artists from across Liverpool to collaborate with professional musicians and develop an original new sound.
You’ll explore what happens when different musical styles, cultures and influences come together — from hip hop and R&B to Chinese traditional music and beyond.
What will you do?
Collaborate with other young artists
Experiment with different sounds, styles and musical influences
Develop original music
Work alongside professional musicians and industry practitioners
Record your own music
Perform your work live
