Officer, Museums and Cultural Property – Arts Council England (North West hybrid), closes 8 May ’26

The Museums and Cultural Property team at Arts Council England delivers a diverse portfolio of services, all united by a shared purpose: to protect, champion, and bring greater public visibility to some of the UK’s most valued cultural assets.

What truly sets them apart is how they work as an organisation. Their values – We Learn, We Care, We Are Ambitious – are not just words, they shape everything they do. They invest in developing the services so that they meet user’s needs in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.

You will be part of a team that is curious, collaborative, and driven to make a difference. The work you do will help ensure art, scientific and historic objects and collections can be shared, experienced, and enjoyed by communities now and for generations to come.

Role Details: Your focus will be Government Indemnity – which works similarly to insurance – and enables museums to borrow outstanding works of art and history to share them with their visitors.

Closing date: 8 May
